When designing our activewear, it was important to us to develop a product with a fantastic performance aspect, but also consider the impact we had on the environment.
Plastic waste and mass fashion production, amongst many other types of industrial manufacturing, are some of the biggest pollution sources in the world. Unfortunately, the majority of activewear sits in both categories. We want to change that.
Extra Boost
At IWI Athletica it's our ongoing mission to minimise our impact on the environment and offer an affordable solution to mass produced sportswear. We are doing this by starting at the source.
We've chosen to partner with S.Café® as our main fabric provider. They are able to provide unique fabric technology and a wealth of experience in activewear. Each garment we create combines recycled polyester, made from recycled bottles, (each garment is made by roughly 12 recycled PET bottles) alongside extracts from 3 cups of used coffee grounds. This means we are creating products from an earth-friendly alternative to traditional clothing fabric.
